  11.     Hi,
  12.         I saw an ad selling a 28.8 Rockwell internal
  13.     modem for $100. But it deosnt have a 16550 chip in it.
  14.     It does software emulation! I have a Supra 14.4i right now
  15.     that uses the 16450 to emulate the 16550 too! Is it a 
  16.     good deal to save on it? Or maybe, it really deosn't matter!
  17.      Does anyone have any opinion. FYI, I have a 486-33DX only.
